Mango seemed to have a 1 up on both PC Chris and Ken when they were active players. Its hard to determine because those players didn't really play at the time of any of the other top players EXCEPT Mango and M2k.
And Chu wasn't as good as PC or Ken at the time when they were all active. You'd have to REALLY break it down and give a good argument on how theyd break into the top 10 though.īut hell, Chu was almost top 10 not that long ago. I think most people would be comfortable in saying that those players would probably find themselves in the top 30, even top 20. Would they be top 10 or top 5? That's a more interesting question that's more contentious and harder to answer. I think if they devoted the resources and the time like they did when they were younger and had that drive, they would absolutely be top level players.
I know Ken will enter tournaments and still get like 65th place at super majors. PC and Ken will still enter tournaments and get respectable placings.
I think with refinement and the new tactics of today's current game, Isai would have been an absolute tech skill monster. Isai actually was shield dropping in 05'. If Ken/PC Chris/Isai had the focus and drive, maybe even the same physicality/age in 2022 as they did in their respective primes, would they be top 100 players? Its always hard to judge based on a lot of factors.īut the spirit of the question is clearly this:
